Old House Crazy Woodworking

Robert Bennett is a science teacher and local resident of the Tri-Cities area who enjoys bringing out the beauty of wood that would have otherwise been discarded. At this year’s festival, he’s showing a number of wood products made from a hundred-year-old oak tree that had to be removed from his property two years ago. He’s also displaying custom wood frames made from Heart Pine flooring that was pulled up from a neighbor’s home. Additionally, he’ll have several dozen spalted oak drink coasters and three table lamps, all made from the same tree as the coffee tables.
