Bio:

Muse is a wood artist who fell in love with working with wood as a child in their basement workshop. They moved away from art during a winding academic journey, but found their way back to creating while taking part in Atlanta’s art scavenger hunt: free art friday. That artistic fun rekindled Muse’s fire to create things to share with the world. One scroll saw later, the deep dive into craftsmanship began again.

Muse makes handcrafted wood art that will help people cultivate mindfulness in their lives, risk more with their moments, embrace more play, and spread love as they move through their days. Working with a variety of wood, from reclaimed or re-purposed wood to domestic and exotic varieties purchased in local wood shops, Muse uses the scroll saw to create detailed geometric pieces, flowing word art, and other intricate creations. Muse believes it is important to create beautiful pieces of art that honor the wood while spreading love and positivity. All pieces they create are made in their Adair Park workshop inside Atlanta’s Mutiny Artwrx artist collective.
