Bryan Garris is a landscape photographer working in the medium of film, with an emphasis on large format camera work. His work encompasses the swamps of Florida, highlands of north Georgia, and other locales across the USA. All photographs are then printed by hand on silver gelatin fiber paper in the darkroom using traditional techniques.
Kaleb Foshee graduated from Valdosta State University with a BFA and received his MFA from the University of Florida. His photographic practice tends to be labor intensive and process-oriented rejecting the ubiquity of today’s photography. His work is diverse and encompasses a number of techniques including tintypes. He has been working with the wet plate collodion process making tintypes since 2011.
Bryan and Kaleb met in college and collaborate whenever possible. For LocalMotion, Bryan will be selling handmade prints and Kaleb will be making unique tintype portraits.
